Tracy Joe Hartsfield passed away on Aug. 8, 2024.
Tracy was born on Nov. 21, 1950, in Wewoka, OK. He was the son of Clyde Moore and Dorothy (Blanton). And was adopted by Houston M. Hartsfield. He grew up in Wewoka Public Schools. On August 11, 1971, he entered the United States Army serving until 1975. Following his discharge, he moved back to Wewoka, Oklahoma, where he began his career as a heavy equipment operator.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Ted Hartsfield; various family members.
He is survived by his daughter, Leandra Brown of Shawnee, OK; one son, Stephen Kilgore of Wewoka, OK; one brother, Harlen Hartsfield of California, MO; one sister, Etta Clark of Lake Ozark, MO; three grandchildren, Tierra Coon, Tristan Hoope and Kaysen Brown all of Shawnee, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
