Vernon Lee Wise passed away on May 29, 2024. He was born July 14, 1954 in Shawnee, OK to Clarence and Hazel (Gamble) Wise.
Vernon graduated from Maud High School in 1972.
He worked in the oil field his entire life until his retirement and owned and operated the Dairy Land in Maud for many years.
Vernon was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Wise; parents; brothers, Billy Ray Wise and CL Wise; and nephew, Michael Kelly.
Survivors include his daughter, Christine Wise of Harjo, OK; grandchildren; sister, Zella Brewer; and other extended family and friends.
Services were held on June 5, 2024 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Faron Coody officiating. Burial followed at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
