Zella Jarvis passed away May 16, 2023. Zella was born in Shawnee, OK to Morris Neal and Allie Rae (Martin) Montgomery. She graduated from Shawnee High School in 1958. She then went on to work at Tinker Air Force Base. Zella spent twenty plus years as a childcare provider. She then went back to school and received her associate degree in accounting. She later retired as a Data Entry Supervisor.
Zella is preceded in death by her husband Roy, parents, brother, three sisters, and her newborn child, Kelly Jo.
Zella is survived by her three children, Rachel Gamble of Shawnee, Ok, Randy Jarvis of McLoud, Ok, and Laura and husband Kenneth Stone of Okemah, Ok. Seven grandchildren: Heath and Laurel Gamble, Ashley Gamble, Tyler Gamble, Skylar and Heather Stone, and Braydon Stone. Nine greatgrandchildren: Paisley, Brayden, Brinlee, Connor, Cannyn, Memphis, Mavryk, Dawsyn, and Pyper.
Services were held on May 19th at the Walker Funeral Chapel. Interment followed at Resthaven Memorial Park.
