    Last week, I was honored to join the family of Maddix Bias for a ceremonial signing of House Bill 1933, the Maddix Bias Act, which tackles the use of nitrous oxide.

    It’s named in memory of Maddix, a 2023 Tecumseh High School graduate and standout baseball player, whose life was tragically cut short in a car crash caused by a driver who was under the influence of nitrous oxide.
