Mother Nature gave us some pretty good viewing nights this month. The skies on the 17th were excellent with very little upper level turbulence until later in the evening when the jet stream brought smoke from the wildfires in Montana and Idaho to the skies overhead, causing a drastic drop in contrast, which made some objects that were easily visible earlier, virtually disappear.
