According to the 1976 Tecumseh Public Schools yearbook, that’s how many people came to Tecumseh on Saturday, May 29, 1976, to watch the parade during the city’s first Frontier Week.
That’s quite a crowd in downtown Tecumseh. The yearbook post described the first annual Frontier Week as a special week and a major part of the city’s celebration of America’s Bicentennial.
