A Turning Point

Sometimes life takes a wrong turn, or maybe it was the right turn needed to get things into perspective. That was what happened for me when I went home early on Thursday, July 3, thinking I had a stomach bug.

Let’s just say it wasn’t a stomach bug. It was much more serious, but being the obstinate, mule-headed person I am, I continued to say, “I’m fine. I will be better tomorrow.”
