On Jan. 21, the Bethel Lady Wildcats were playing Perry in the Cashion Tournament when Ava Gascon sank her 1,000th high school career point.
They went on to win the game by an overwhelming 71-26, but they took a moment to celebrate Gascon’s milestone.
