Flood agreed to have Kansas City Chiefs Center Creed Humphrey sign one thing for Brooks and her mother, Julia Slavin, far left, during the Creed Humphrey Day Celebration on March 4. Brooks said her mother, age 90, has been a Chiefs fan for 60 years, and her parents had season tickets for 25 years. Her father was also a Citizen Potawatomi Nation tribal leader for 12 years.

  • Lifetime Chief's fan, Julia Slavin, 90 years young, cheers for Creed Humphrey at the celebration in his honor on March 4. Slavin lived in Kansas City for 60 years before moving to Shawnee. She is thrilled to have a local boy playing for her team! Countywide & Sun/Julie Talton
