Lady Savages Fast Pitch Begin Super Regionals Today

  • Earlsboro freshman Ana Roubidoux crosses the finish line in sixth place for the High School Girls Two-Mile division of the Tecumseh Savage Cross Country Invitational on Sept. 26. According to ohstrack. com, Roubidoux’s time girls team placed second. In addition to Earlsboro and Tecumseh, New Lima and Lexington participated in the evening event.   • Tecumseh senior Sami Schweighardt prepares for a hit in the fourth inning of Class 4A Regional Tournament home game with Broken Bow on Sept. 28. The Lady Savages lost that game in overtime, but they won all three of their other games - with Vinita, Bristow and again with Broken Bow - over the three-day tournament, according to the OSSAA Rankings website. They will play Blanchard in the Super Regionals today (Oct. 5) at noon and 2 pm in Tecumseh. Countywide & Sun/ Natasha Dunagan

    The Tecumseh Lady Savages are Regional Champions and headed to the Super Regional today (Thursday) as they attempt to make yet another State Tournament run.
