The Lady Wildcats opened the First United Basketball Classic against Tecumseh last Thursday night and came away with a 49-36 win to send Bethel to the semifinals.
Bethel jumped out early and took an 18-8 lead after the first quarter. The Lady Savages made it closer in the second quarter, but the Lady Wildcats extended their halftime lead to 34-23.
