Tecumseh Cross Country is running wild and bringing home a load of hardware. The Savage boys team have been Meet Champions in the last two meets at the Velma-Alma Meet and the Rock Creek Invitational at the Chickasaw National Recreational Area in Sulphur.
Savage Logan Haworth was first in both meets. Haworth came out on top competing against 165 runners at Velma-Alma with a time of 18:06. In the Sulphur Meet, Haworth had a time of 18:57.
In the Velma-Alma event, James Negahnquet was seventh, Izak Williams was 18th, Tim Wallace was 21st, Levi Bingham was 35th, Braydon Self was 67th and Aaron Sack was 108th.
On the girls side, the Lady Savages Harper Stone was 26th, Aaliyah Stargell was 63rd, Shelby Bradford was 120th, Kaydence Hale was 128th and Tylee Brock was 134th out of 156 girls.
At Sulphur, the Savages again were champs. Along with Haworth takin the top spot, Negahnquet was third, Williams was 5th, Wallace was 6th, Bingham was 7th, Self was 21st and Jessy Thoma was 30th. The Lady Savages Harper Stone took fifth place, Stargell was 16th, Hale was 23rd and Brock was 30th.
