Shawnee High School held their Spring Homecoming on Tues., Jan. 10, before the Lady Wolves home game against Harding Prep. Seniors Kelon Chandler and Anna Jordan, who both represented tennis, were crowned King and Queen. Shawnee High School held their Spring Homecoming on Tues., Jan. 10, before the Lady Wolves home game against Harding Prep. Seniors Kelon Chandler and Anna Jordan, who both represented tennis, were crowned King and Queen.
Shawnee senior Vincent Tash competes in the Boys 100 Yard Butterfly during the swim meet with Moore, Southmoore and Westmoore athletes on Nov. 10 at the Shawnee YMCA. Tash placed fourth in the event with a 1:07.90. His teammate and fellow senior Ethan Oller placed first with a 55.84. Shawnee placed first in the Combined Team Scores, with 803 points. They had 416 points for the women and 387 points for the men. Countywide & Sun/Natasha Dunagan

Shawnee, One of 58 High Schools Teaching Aerospace In OK

Back in July, State Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell announced that Oklahoma is first in the country for high schools approved to teach the “You Can Fly” Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) curriculum, made available in the last year.
