Potawatomi Fire Beat Little Rock, 122-96

The Potawatomi Fire used a 37-20 second quarter surge to rout the Little Rock Lightning, 122–96. Seven fire players were in double figures, led by K.D. Moore with 20 points. Moore also had six rebounds and three steals.
The MVP of the TBL, DeShawn Munson, goes in for a basket during the FireLake Arena Fall Shootout Basketball Tournament on Oct. 15. Munson was playing on the "Shawnee Fire" team against "New Era," and there were seven teams total in the pro-am tournament held at FireLake Arena and the Shawnee YMCA. FireLake Arena Hosts First Pro-Am Basketball Tournament

For those missing the sound of dribbling and the swish of the net, FireLake Arena offered a healthy dose of basketball this weekend. The inaugural FireLake Arena Fall Shootout Basketball Tournament invited eight Pro-Am (professional/ amateur) teams to compete for a total purse of $10,000.

Shawnee senior Dymire James plays on the #1 doubles team with fellow senior Peyton Greenwood in the Shawnee Boys Tennis Tournament on April 30 at Shawnee High School. The #1 doubles team of seniors Payton Greenwood and Dymire James went 1-3 and finished in eighth place.
