Seminole State College Hosts Two STEM Summer Camps

Seminole State College hosted two Summer Academies for Mathematics, Science and Multidisciplinary Studies funded by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education from July 17 to July 22. In the Engineering and Construction Management camp, 16 students built a “tiny house.

The Aug. 1 City Commission Meeting was a quick and easy one with only 12 agenda items. After a long period of the position sitting vacant, the board voted to approve the hiring of Lindsey McNabb-Fox as the City’s next Finance Director and City Treasurer.
