Grimmetts celebrate 71st Wedding Anniversary

Marvin “Ray” and Verlie Grimmett celebrated their 71st Anniversary this week. The Grimmetts, who were high school sweethearts, married in Henryetta, OK on Sept. 30, 1954.They currently live on a horse ranch in Tecumseh and have raised two sons and one daughter.

Frontier Days Winners Include Dyer, Hurst

Tecumseh’s Frontier Days went “Back to Our Roots” this year. After the initial event of the Frontier Days Pageant on Sept. 21, it continued with the Gospel Sing, held Sept. 25 at Slick Humphrey Park.
