Towana Anita Johnson, 86, passed away April 5, 2026. She was born March 26, 1940 in Wanette, OK. Towana found great joy in cooking and baking, often expressing her love through the meals she prepared.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Zollie and Juanita Knight; husbands: Ralph Jacobs, Bob Saulsberry, Phillip Johnson; siblings: Walter Girty, Janice Cowan, Bobby Knight, Gene Glaze; and daughter-in-law Kathy Jacobs.
Towana is survived by her loving son, Ronnie Jacobs of the home; three grandchildren, Brandy Lohman and husband Mike of Dale, OK, Chantillee Clary and husband Stacy of Conway, AR, and Rennee Buoy and husband LE of Meeker, OK; eight great-grandchildren: Christopher Lohman, Madison Lohman, Zeke Smith, Billy Buoy, Luke Buoy, Rider Buoy, Noah Clary, and Kaden Clary; and three great-great-grandchildren, Evermore Lohman, Blakley Lohman, and Haidyn Smith; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A public viewing will be held on April 9, 2026, from 9 am to 6 pm at Walker Funeral & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held on April 10, 2026, at 2 pm at First Church of the Nazarene Shawnee. Arrangements are under the care of Walker Funeral & Cremation Service.
