James Eugene Moore passed July 31, 2026. James was born on April 22, 1937, in Shawnee, OK, to Homer Jackson Moore and Anna Melinda (Whited) Moore. He graduated from Shawnee High School. On Aug. 3, 1957, James married Alice Faye, at Fairview Baptist Church.
James dedicated 54 years of his life working as an oil field machinist at Hendershot Tool.
James is survived by his son, Brian Moore; his caretaker and girlfriend, Marcella Jane Thayer; his three grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will continue to cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Randy James Moore; his sisters, Linda Ann Campbell and Dorothy Helen-Walter; and his brother, Carl Roy Moore.
Services and committal were held at Resthaven Memorial Park, Shawnee, on Aug. 7, 2026.
