Jason James Souders passed away Sept. 6, 2026. He was born on Sept. 17, 1971, in Shawnee, OK. Jason graduated from Shawnee High School and later attended college studying computer programming. He built a career in technical support and worked as a senior associate in technical support for a company that developed software for appraisal companies.
He is survived by his son, James Souders; his mother, Thelma Souders; father, Larry Souders and wife Tammy; brother, Joe Souders and wife Suzanne; sister, Jennifer Souders; sister, Janel Rae and husband Cris; sister, Scotland Templeton and husband Logan; Rachel Hawley; nieces and nephews, Abby, Callie, Emma, Bryce; and many A memorial service was held on Sept. 12, 2026, at Johnson Church of God, Shawnee, Oklahoma. Following the ceremony, Jason was laid to rest at Johnson Cemetery.
