She was born Oct. 8, 1947 to Carlton Richard Roper and Marjorie Lamon Roper in Shawnee.
A Celebration of Life was held Oct. 11, 2021, at Immanuel Baptist Church, Shawnee, under the direction of Walker Funeral & Cremation Service.
