Micheal “Mike” Jon-Daniel Lester, 44, resident of Meeker, died Oct. 6, 2021.
Mike was born June 21, 1977, in Shawnee, OK, to his parents, Mark Lester and LaDanna Cox.
Mike worked at CPN/Firelake Grocery Store for 18 years and was known as “The Man” who could get anything done. He also enjoyed being an official for middle school and high school football.
On March 27, 2021, Mike married Crystal VanCuren.
Mike was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
He is survived by his wife, Crystal Lester; dog, Sam VanLester; father, Mark Lester, and wife, Anne; mother, LaDanna Cox, and husband, Stan; three sons, Chris and wife Montana, Bradley and wife Damaila, and Landon; daughter, Mackenzie, three grandchildren, Luke, Bostyn, and Margo; siblings, Amanda Lester, Denise Platt and husband Eric, Kirk Underwood, and Jarrod Cox, as well as a host of extended family and friends.
A funeral ceremony for Mike was held Oct. 13, 2021, at Immanuel Baptist Church in Shawnee. Following the ceremony, Mike was laid to rest at Garden Grove Cemetery.
