Vickie Diane Beal, 67, of Tecumseh, OK, died Nov. 14, 2021, in Shawnee.
She was born Jan. 16, 1954, to George and Eula (Harper) Beal in Shawnee, OK.
Vickie was raised in Tecumseh. She was a 1972 graduate of Tecumseh High School.
She married Arley Shorter in 1971 at the First Assembly of God in Tecumseh. He preceded her in death in 2004.
She had several jobs around the area and was Manager of Subway in Tecumseh.
Vickie attended Tecumseh First Assembly of God. She loved to cook, enjoyed music, going to garage sales and auctions.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and sister, Bonny O’Neal.
Vickie is survived by her daughter, Tammy Shorter of Tecumseh, OK; son, Arley Ernst Shorter of MO; sister, Brenda Tunnell of Tecumseh, OK; two nephews, Grover Cleveland, Jr. and Rick O’Neal; niece, Laqueta Matthews; and other extended family and friends.
Visitation will be 9 am-8 pm, Nov. 18, 2021, and continue through service time. Service will be 2 pm, Nov. 19, 2021, at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
