Delbert Lynn Alldredge, 79, died Nov. 13, 2021.
He was born March 29, 1942, in Shawnee, OK.
Lynn had many hobbies over the years from gardening, to boating and camping in his younger years to weekends at their lake house with his family and friends.
He also loved the classic cars from his youth and owned many through the years. He loved history, especially his family history. Lynn enjoyed telling stories about his ancestors.
Later in his life, he enjoyed volunteering at The Shawnee Rescue Mission, and the Pottawatomie County Historical Museum where he was a board member.
He and his wife Jean worked together to design and build six homes and even built their first lake house themselves from the ground up at Twin Lakes in Crescent, OK, in 1982.
Lynn is survived by his wife Jean Alldredge, son, Jason Alldredge, and daughter-in-law, Polly Alldredge; daughter, Jamie Johnson, and son-in-law, Jay Johnson; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Linnie Alldredge, and his brother, Don Alldredge.
Funeral service was held Nov. 20, 2021, at Resthaven Funeral Home, Shawnee, OK.
