James Arthur Gibbons, 45, of Shawnee, OK, died Monday, Nov. 22, 2021, in Shawnee.
He was born July 15, 1976, to Jack and Debora (Megehee) Gibbons in Shawnee, OK.
James was raised in the Ada area and graduated from Latta High School in 1995.
He served his country in the U.S. Army.
James worked for Wolverine Tubing for many years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Gibbons; and his son, Jarret.
Survivors include his mother, Debora Manuel of Ada; step-father, John Clutter of Shawnee, OK; two daughters, Elayna Gibbons of Shawnee, OK, and Eva K Gibbons of Shawnee, OK; one sister, Jennifer Clutter of Shawnee, OK; two brothers, Dustin Manuel of Ada, OK, and Dillon and Katy Manuel of Ada, OK; aunt, Pam Collier of Shawnee, OK; and many nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
Memorial service will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021, at Blackburn Chapel, Bethel Acres, conducted by Gerald Nowlin. Cremation arrangements by Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh. There will be no viewing.
