Wanda June (Robinson) Hill, 78, of Shawnee, OK, died Jan. 1, 2022.
Wanda was born Sept. 26, 1943, in Dallas, TX, to Joseph Cecil Robinson and Dessie Mae Morton Robinson.
Wanda married Arnold Ralph Hill on Dec. 1, 1961.
Wanda and Ralph were members of Trinity Baptist Church for 57 years. Wanda was a Master Gardener, business owner, and was the Executive Assistant to the District President of Oklahoma Natural Gas of Shawnee, where she was employed for 35 years.
She was a faithful member of Business Professional Women, where she served 2 terms as State President. She also loved serving as a member of the Salvation Army and American Legion, among several Shawnee civic organizations she was involved in.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Timothy Robinson; and her precious son, Edwin Arnold Hill.
Wanda is survived by her husband of 60 years, Arnold Ralph Hill; children, Angela Diane Hill of Shawnee, and Jonathan Mark Hill and wife Danielle Hill of Edmond; her siblings, Elsie Birdsell, Jimmie Robinson, and Billy Don Robinson; six grandchildren; her first great-grandchild, and her second greatgrandchild who is due in February.
Flowers are welcome or the family has also designated Lottie Moon Christmas offering through Trinity Baptist Church, 1315 N. McKinley Ave., Shawnee, OK 74801 as appropriate for memorials.
Service was held Jan. 8, 2022 at Trinity Baptist Church, 1315 N. McKinley Ave., Shawnee with Pastor David Holland, Pastor Larry Norris, and Senator James Lankford officiating. Private Family Burial followed under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh. The celebration of Wanda’s life was live-streamed through Trinity Baptist Church’s Facebook page.
