Reba (Bailey) Wright, 86, of Shawnee, OK, died January 11, 2022.
Reba was born Feb. 12, 1935, in Macomb, OK, to Ira Bailey and Oleta (French) Bailey. She attended school at Prairie Valley in Seminole County where she graduated in 1953 as Salutatorian of her class.
She married Robert-Wright, Jr. on June 28, 1982.
Reba was employed by American General Life Insurance Company in Shawnee for 27 years, and later owned a bookkeeping and tax business. She was a faithful member of Wallace Avenue Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her grandparents; her parents, Ira and Oleta Bailey; and her sister, Sheryl Bailey Hindle.
Survivors include her husband; sister, Linda Rayfield of Oklahoma City; brother, Tommy Bailey of Shawnee; niece, Dawn Hindle of Los Angeles, CA; three nephews; brother-in-law, Zeb Wright of Wichita, KS; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Service was Jan. 14, 2022, at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel, with Wayne Coleman officiating. Burial followed at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
