Lewis “Henry” Brown, Sr.

Lewis “Henry” Brown, Sr., 82, of Shawnee, OK, died suddenly on Jan. 13, 2022, at his home.

He was born Oct. 15, 1939, to Raymond and Pauline (Lowe) Brown in Springfield, MO.

Henry served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps for two years.

He married Minnie A. “Penny” Penner, Dec. 12, 1997.

Henry worked as an electrician in the coal mines and later took up farming.

Upon retirement, he always kept busy and was a man of many hobbies and talents which included making knives, furniture, canes and pottery.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and other family members.

Survivors include his wife, Penny (Penner) Brown of the home; and other family members.

Private family services were held under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
