Kimberly Jean McCollough, 59, of Bethel Acres, died Jan. 16, 2022, in Tulsa, OK.
She was born Oct. 12, 1962 in Syracuse, NY, to Patsy Jean (Teague) and Jimmie Knott.
Kimberly lived in Bethel Acres early on with her family and later moved to the northwestern states where she lived for many years.
She graduated from Great Falls University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice.
Kimberly married Kenny Childers in 1979.
She worked in Law Enforcement and Security for several years with the Tulsa Police Department.
Kimberly was preceded in death by her brothers, Timothy Scott Knott and Neal Dunn.
She is survived by her mother, Patti Williams of Georgetown, TX; son, Kody Childers and wife Brooke of Bethel Acres; daughter, Kendra Foust of Mannford, OK; five grandchildren; beloved dog, Tipper Jean; nieces, nephews, cousins; and other family members and friends.
Memorial Service was Jan. 21, 2022, at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh. The family wishes to give Special Thanks to Ascension St. John Medical Center in Tulsa for the excellent care they provided to Kimberly.
