Danny Joe Gordon, 68, died April 7, 2022 in Shawnee, OK. He was the son of Uvone (Golden) Gordon and John B. Gordon.
He was born in Fairland, OK, on Nov. 28, 1953. Danny grew up in the Midwest City, OK community and graduated from Midwest City High School with the class of 1972.
In 1975, he met his wife Marilyn Lynn Young and they were married on July 31, 1976.
Danny owned and operated Midwest Produce Brokerage, with his wife, in Meeker, OK, from 1979 until his retirement in 1996.
Danny was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in May of 1988.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, J.B. Gordon, and sister, Sharon Ray.
Danny is survived by his wife of 45 years, Marilyn, daughter, Darcie Gordon of Shawnee, OK; daughter, Miranda Outon, and husband, Tim of Moore, OK; two grandsons; sister, Shannon Ailey and Aunt Denelda Golden and numerous other family members.
The family would like to thank the staff of Colonial Estates Nursing Home, Traditions Hospice and Dr. Vail Stephens.
Graveside Service was April 11, 2022 at Meeker New Hope Cemetery with Reverend Quinton Kay, N.E. Freewill Baptist Church officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
