Maurick Genard Banks passed away August 6, 2022. Genard was born July 14, 1965 in Shawnee, OK to Cardell and Brenda (Jackson) Banks. He graduated from Shawnee High School.
On December 4, 1992, Genard married the love of his life Stella in Shawnee, OK. Genard worked for Jindal films as a resin coordinator.
He is preceded in death by his mom Brenda Banks.
He is survived by his wife Stella Banks; father Cardell Banks; daughter Cassandra Marizu and husband Ikye of Shawnee, OK; sons Anthony Banks of Shawnee, OK, Brandon Banks of Shawnee, OK, and Denzel Banks of Shawnee, OK; brothers Maury Banks and wife Audrey of Broken Arrow, OK, and Gerald Banks and wife Leslie Banks of Moore, OK; 3 grandchildren, 2 nieces, and 5 nephews.
Services were held August 13, 2022 at Resthaven Funeral Home.
