Monte (Monzo) Del Chancellor passed away Sept 22, 2022.
Monte was born in Shawnee, OK on October 4, 1955 to Del and Mary Chancellor. Monte graduated from Dale High School. Monte married Sheila Newby on September 30, 1978. Monte worked as a Mason for years before going to work at Tinker Air Force Base where he retired in 2011 after 30 years of service.
Monte was preceded in death by his parents, Del and Mary Chancellor and sisters, Mary Jo Walker and Lori Cranford.
He is survived by his wife Sheila of the home, daughter Lori Eslinger and husband Bill of McLoud, daughter Monica Mapira and husband Shelton of Newalla, grandchildren, Nathan Eslinger, Chloe Mapira, Claire Mapira, Tucker Mapira, Emma Eslinger, Owen Eslinger, brother-in-law Eddie Walker, aunts, Betty Chancellor, Ercel Brown, Shirley Hopkins and Joyce Terney, nephew, Shane Walker and family, Lacy Duffy and family, Cristi Turman and family, Amanda Cranford, as well as a brother from the north and a brother from the south that he never had.
Services were held September 27, 2022 at the Walker Funeral Chapel in Shawnee, OK. Burial followed in Newalla.
