Macomb has revived their "Trade Days," after several years. It was held on Sept. 22 along Main Street, and there were 35 vendors from Macomb and surrounding communities, according to organizer Shannon Browning. The event also featured inflatables, snowcones, free hotdogs and live music by the Pott County Pickers. The "Trade Day" was originally a monthly market in Macomb which started in Nov. 1919, according to an article in the "Macomb Tribune," shared by Macomb Alumni Association President Scott Hawkins. It is estimated that approximately 350 people attended this year's event.
