Johnny Vi n son Pritchard passed away October 12, 2022.
He was born November 23, 1931 to Vinson Pritchard and Ina (Kelin) Pritchard in Seminole, OK. He married Patsy (Edwards) Pritchard on January 20, 1951. Johnny graduated from Earlsboro High School in 1950. He enlisted in the Naval Reserves in 1952 and was honorably discharged in 1960. Johnny graduated from Oklahoma City University in 1962 with a B.A. in electronics. He retired in 1986 as the Chief of Quality Control over jet engines, completing 35 years of devoted Federal Service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vinson and Ina Pritchard; wife, Patsy Pritchard; and sister Peggy Valenzuela.
He is survived by his daughter and son-inlaw, Linda and Keith Ward of Shawnee; son and daughter-inlaw, Mark and Pam Pritchard of Tecumseh; grandchildren, Jessica McClain and husband, Jordan, of Shawnee, Brittyn Combs and husband, Mark, of Mustang and Johnny Pritchard and wife, Rebecca, of Mustang; great-grandchildren, Brody and Olivia Wolfe of Shawnee and Tyson and Jarron Combs of Mustang; brothers, Jack Pritchard of Stillwater and Jimmy Pritchard and wife Wanda of Shawnee; and many other family and friends.
Services were held Monday, October 17, 2022 at Taproot Church, 22 E. Dunloup, Shawnee, OK with Pastor Keith Ward, Taproot Church, officiating. Burial followed at Fairview Cemetery in Shawnee under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
