Gary Allen Serena passed away on October 26, 2022.
Gary Allen Serena was born on September 20, 1968, in New Kensington, Pennsylvania to Harry Robert and Norma Jean (Washington) Serena. Gary grew up in Shawnee attending schools in Shawnee and Eufaula. He received his HVAC licensing and worked for the Absentee Tribe.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Derek L. Serena; one sister, Florence Serena; one sister-in-law, Julia Serena; and two nieces, Desirea Serena, and Tashina Serena.
He is survived by one brother, Shawn Serena of Shawnee; two sisters, Lisa Serena of Oklahoma City, and Laveda Serena of Oklahoma City. His stepchildren, Joe, Maranda, and Alicia; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services were held November 2, 2022 at the McElyea and Owens Funeral Group Community Center. Burial followed at Johnson Cemetery.
