Dennis Vance Barnes passed away Nov. 23, 2022.
Dennis was born Aug. 13, 1949, in Enid, OK to John Barnes and Corrine (Parks).
Dennis is preceded in death by his parents; John Barnes and Corrine (Parks); sister, Jan Barnes, and brother, Steve Barns.
He is survived by his brother Paul Barnes, of Oklahoma City; sisters, Nancy Patton of Shawnee and Peggy Russell, of Purcell; nephews: Mike Brown (Misty) of Shawnee, nephew Damien (Charlotte) Russell, of Norman, Jacob Barnes, of Hinton and niece Joanna Barnes, of Hinton; As well as, many greatnephews, great-nieces, and friends.
The family gives Dr. Phillip Haddad an extra special “thank you” for the care and compassion he gave to Dennis. Dennis was not dealt a fair hand in this life, but Dr. Haddad saw past his disabilities and treated him and his family with the kindness and respect that should always be given.
A graveside service and urn burial will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Oklahoma City, at a later date.
