Edgar “Mac” Mc-Clellan Brown passed away on Nov. 23, 2022.
He was born June 29, 1941 in Shawnee, OK to Leo I. and Edna V. (Emmons) Brown.
Mac graduated from Bethel High School in 1959.
He joined the U. S. Air Force in 1962. Mac proudly served his country for 23 years. He was an Air Force mechanic and was also a tailor of uniforms while serving.
Mac was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary E. Sartin; and niece, Tracy D. Brown.
He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Wortman of MA; brother, Harold Brown and San of Shawnee; nephew, Kevin M. Brown of Shawnee; great nephews, Kevin Brown, Jr., Spencer Brown, Dayton Ballard and Dustin Ballard; good friend, Liz Simon; and many other family and friends.
Services were held Nov. 28, 2022 at Cooper Funeral Home with Phil Thompson of Liberty Baptist Church officiating. Burial followed at Hopewell Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
