He was born Nov. 12, 1944 to Henry and Muriel (Morris) Ingersoll in Stillwater, OK.

Mark graduated from Shawnee High School.

He married Lola Miller on Jan. 18, 1965 in Shawnee, OK.

Mark proudly served his country for 6 years in the Army National Guard Reserves with the 45th Infantry Thunderbirds Division. He was a rifle marksman and sharpshooter.

He retired from the Shawnee Police Dept. in 2004 as a Detective Sergeant. After retirement he worked at Shawnee Public Schools as a special needs bus monitor for 17 years.

He was preceded in death by parents, Henry and Muriel Ingersoll; two brothers, John Singletry and Winn Singletry; and sister, Rhonda Barsaty.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Lola Jean Ingersoll of the home; one son and daughter-inlaw, Warren and Kerry Ingersoll of Shawnee, OK; one daughter, Dia Ingersoll; eight grandchildren, Konner Ingersoll, Colton Ingersoll, Chris Ingersoll, Karson Ingersoll, Lily Ingersoll, Kaytlee Ingersoll, Johnathan Kidd and Autumn Ingersoll; three sisters, Carole Smith, Sheila Spears and Terry Locke; two brothers, Robert Singletry and Walter Locke; and other extended family and friends.

Services were held Nov. 29, 2022 at Wesley United Methodist Church with Ken Kerbo, Shawnee Police Department Chaplain officiating. Burial followed at Resthaven Memorial Park in Shawnee under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
