Linda Gail Russell passed away Nov. 30, 2022. Linda was born June 17, 1947 to Jimmie and Charlotte (Lee) Kissee in Seminole, OK. She graduated from Bristow High School.
Linda lived numerous places as a military wife for 18 years, before settling in Moore, OK and then living her last few years with her son in Tecumseh.
She worked many years at Walmart in the Jewelry Department as a sales associate.
She was preceded in death by husband, D.C. Russell; parents, Jimmie and Charlotte Kissee; and sister, Judy.
Survivors include her son and daughter-inlaw, Mike and Lorie Ballard of Tecumseh, OK; daughter and son-inlaw, Brenda and Andy Self of Midwest City, OK; four grandchildren, Michelle, Keith, Mickey and Leah; nine great-grandchildren, Liam, Camryn, Zoey, Rylee, Kassidy, Alyssa, Ady, Bridgette and Jetta; three brothers, Pete, Gary and Terry; numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
Services were held Dec. 5, 2022 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Keith Cole, Traditions Hospice officiating. Burial followed at Little Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
