Miyoko Strong passed away on Sept. 7, 2025. She was 92 years old. Miyoko was born on April 6, 1933 in Gauji, Japan. She married Robert Lee Strong in Tokyo, Japan on Nov. 4, 1952.
Miyoko was an active member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She loved caring for children and volunteered much of her time at the Bus Ministry and Preschool and Children’s Ministry. Miyoko was also a black belt in martial arts and enjoyed bowling for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kishi Kashima and Sei Kashima and husband, Robert Lee Strong.
Services were held Sept. 12, 2025 at 10:00 am at Resthaven Memorial Park in Shawnee, OK with Scott Schooler officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Walker Funeral & Cremation Service.
