Sarah Genevieve Daugherty, age 20, passed away on Aug. 24, 2025, due to complications of asthma. She was born in Las Vegas, NV, to Christopher Daugherty and Helen Zylstra on July 11, 2005. After graduating from Shawnee High School, Sarah entered the volunteer world because she was a bit unsure of what she wanted to do.
Sarah was predeceased by her great-grandmother and great-grandfather, as well as other relatives and friends.
Sarah is survived by her grandmother, Lisa Daugherty; father, Christopher Daugherty and stepmom, Theresa Daugherty; sister, Elizabeth Daugherty and brother, Jesse Daugherty; as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins and a host of friends.
Services were held Sept. 27, 2025, at Liberty Baptist Church, 711 E. Federal St., Shawnee, Oklahoma 74804.
