Wilma Jean Bruza- Douglas passed away on Oct. 7, 2025. She was born to Bennie Edd and Nina Martin Bruza on April 23, 1950, in Oklahoma City, OK. She graduated from McLoud High School in 1968.
She has lived a life of many stories, from growing up in McLoud and spending time in CA working for record studios. She found her love, husband Alton, and married in 2005. She always had a special love for her sweet cats, was elegantly talented with her drawings, and enjoyed playing her flute.
Wilma is survived by her husband, Alton Douglas; her sister, Gaila Jo and Wayne Bryant; her son, John Dutch Long (Johnny); daughter, Sheriee McBride; nieces and nephews; grandchildren, Kenzie Long, Callie, Sarah and Trish. She is predeceased by her sister, Norma Jean Bruza; her mother and father; cousin, Betty Jean Morrison; and her beloved best friend, Edwina.
