Clifford Boyd Honeycutt passed away on Nov. 21st after a long battle with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis.
Clifford was born on Oct. 21, 1953, to Leslie Boyd Honeycutt and Helen Marie (Patton) Honeycutt in Ponca City, OK. He graduated from Stigler High School in 1971 and attended Connors State College in Warner, OK. He married Stephanie (Candy) Smith in 1973. He also enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1973. Candy and he divorced in 1979.
While serving his eight years in the Air Force, he met Jo Nita Hollingshead, and they married on June 7, 1980. Clifford’s military service ended in 1981. Clifford worked for Civil Service at Tinker Air Force Base as an aircraft mechanic, rigger specialist until he retired in 2008 after 37 years of service.
Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie B. Honeycutt and Helen M. (Patton) Honeycutt; paternal grandparents, Clarence and Ruby Honeycutt; maternal grandparents, PJ and Leona Patton; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Clifford is survived by his wife, Jo Honeycutt of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Jennifer Honeycutt of Tuskahoma, OK; son and daughter-in-law, Nathan and Jennette Honeycutt of Noble, OK; daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Elias Carreon of Macomb, OK; daughter and fiancé, Megan Honeycutt and Garen Tuley of Shawnee, OK; grandchildren: August Carroll, Breanna and husband Mark Delisle, Kiley Honeycutt and significant other Austin Hyde, Hunter McPherson and fiancé Hannah Dockrey, Kalib Honeycutt, Joseph Kaylor, Evelyn Carreon, Scarlett Carreon, Gabriel Carreon and Samuel Carreon; brother, Douglas and wife Joyce of Mt. View, AR; brother, Tommy and wife Deborah of Stigler, OK; many aunts, uncles, cousins and “adopted” family and friends. Services were held on Dec. 2, 2025 at Asher First Baptist Church.
