Sharon Lindsey, 86 passed away Jan. 18, 2026.
She was born to Mark and Virginia (Butterwood) Bishop on Oct. 29, 1939 in Salt Lake City, UT. Sharon graduated from Jordon High School and attended Gordon Cooper Technology Center after moving to OK. Graduating with an LPN, she began work at Golden Rule Nursing Home as an Assistant Director.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Cathy Fratto and Merlin Lovett.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Cheryl Simpson of Tecumseh, OK; son, Gary Lindsey of Seminole, OK; three granddaughters, Jessica Gilbert of Shawnee, OK, Elizabeth Lindsey of Ada, OK and Raechel Simpson of Tecumseh, OK; grandson, Buford Fellows and Leah Fellows of Tecumseh, OK; great-granddaughter, Grace Bishop of Shawnee, OK; two sisters, Barbara Bryner of Odgen, UT and Linda Mathews of Hurricane, UT; and other extended family and friends.
Per Sharon’s wishes no formal services will be held. Cremation arrangements by Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
