Glenda Sue Jones passed away Jan. 20, 2026. Glenda was born on Oct. 2, 1954 in Shawnee, OK to Pauline and Robert Jones. Glenda graduated from Shawnee High School. She worked for South Central Industries,Inc. until its restructuring due to COVID.
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents; cousin, Big Brother and Guardian Kenneth McVey (Carol) of Martinsville, IN.
She is survived by her cousin Big Sis Sharon Rogers (Larry) of Cabot, AR, Lifelong Friend and family minister Reverend Doug (Barbara) Parker of Dale OK, cousin Debbie Bailey of Tecumseh, OK, and many cousins.
Visitation will be at Resthaven Funeral Home, 44909 Hwy 3, Shawnee, OK, 74801 on Jan. 29 from 5-7 pm. The funeral service will be on Jan. 30 at Temple Baptist Church at 1234 E. Highland St, Shawnee, OK, 74801 starting at 2 pm. The Committal service will follow at Dale Cemetery located at 33500 45th St, Dale, OK.
