Tawanna Ann White passed away Jan. 25, 2026. She was born Jan. 28, 1957, in Shawnee, OK to Earl Elijah and Pauline “Louise” (Gokey) White.
Tawanna graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1975. She has worked in several agencies for the state of Oklahoma and retired after many years of service from the Department of Public Safety.
Tawanna is preceded in death by her parents. Those left to cherish her memory are; brother, David White of Tecumseh; sister, Reita Easley of Tecumseh; niece, Amber Giles of Tecumseh; nephew, Jason White and wife Shelby of Tecumseh; nephew, Michael White and wife Tana of Moore, grandniece, Blakely Giles; grand nephews, Kye White and Rhett White; and numerous cousins and extended family and friends.
Services will be held at 2 pm, Jan. 30, 2026, at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
