Amanda Riley Downard Tobin, 28, passed away Aug. 21st, 2026. Amanda was born on June 23, 1998. She was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and had a deep love for our Country. Amanda proudly and honorably served her country in the United States Air Force as a Security Forces Airman with the 138th Security Forces Squadron, 138th Fighter Wing, Oklahoma Air National Guard, in Tulsa, OK, attaining the rank of Airman First Class, and was honorably discharged.
Amanda continued her education by attending the University of Central Oklahoma and American Military University.
Of the work Amanda did throughout her life, she especially loved being a nanny. Caring for others came naturally to her. She found great joy in helping care for newborns and babies, as well as children on the autism spectrum. On July 27, 2019, Amanda married Killian Tobin.
Amanda will forever be cherished by her husband; parents, Terry and Heavenly Downard; sister and brother-in-law, Jessica and Zane Winters; niece, Charli Winters; grandparents, Robert and Karen Hayes, and Wynona Gregory Amsey.
She is preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Merrie Lee Fowler, and grandpa, Wayne Gregory.
Amanda will be cremated at Riley-Walker Funeral Service & Crematory in Shawnee, OK Killian and her parents are organizing a public memorial [Date and time pending] at Life.Church in Shawnee, OK, and asks that anyone with fond memories to feel free to attend and share.
