Barbara Jean Britt passed away on Aug. 19, 2025. She was born on Mar. 30, 1933, in Ada, OK, to Chuck Morris and Nora Lee Morris.
Barbara grew up in Allen, OK, before moving to Seminole, where she graduated high school with the Class of 1951. She began her career at OG&E before marrying the love of her life, Terrell Britt, on Nov. 27, 1953. Together they built a life of faith, hard work, and family. Barbara and Terrell owned the Sonic in Seminole. They also operated Britt Limousin Cattle Ranch.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Barbara is survived by her brother, John Morris and his wife Beverly of Seminole, OK; son, Randy Britt and wife Audra of Seminole, OK; son, Roddy Britt and wife Glenda of Shawnee, OK; and son, Terry Britt of Chicago, IL; grandchildren: Kasey Britt-Davis and spouse Heather Davis of Moore, OK, Jacob Britt and wife, Melissa of Moore, OK, Scotlyn Britt of Shawnee, OK, and Taylor Britt Voss and husband Garrett of Edmond, OK.
Services were held Aug. 23, 2025 at Resthaven Funeral Home, Shawnee.
