Betty Jean Mauldin, a resident of Shawnee, passed away on Friday, Apr. 15, 2022. She was 91 years old. Betty was born in Davenport, OK, on July 23, 1930, to Lester and Elizabeth Adams. She married Johnnie Mauldin on July 3, 1946.
Survivors include her children, Gloria Fullbright and husband Joe of Shawnee, Alvin Mauldin of Shawnee, Brad Mauldin and wife Rania of McLoud, Jimmy Mauldin and wife Debi of Shawnee, grandchildren: Steven Fullbright of Shawnee, Blake Fullbright and wife Miranda of Ft. Gibson, Jarod Mauldin of Shawnee, Robin Oles and Jose Rangel of Moore, Tricia Dietrich and husband Paul of McLoud, Jake Mauldin and wife Brittany of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Tommy Mauldin and wife Taura of Shawnee, Anji Sandy and Aaron Sandy of Shawnee, sister Charlotte Brum of Del City, sister-in-law Joyce Mauldin of Shawnee, ten great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and a multitude of friends.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband Johnnie Mauldin, daughter Ruth Ann Mauldin, brother Robert Adams, several in-laws, and granddaughters Amy Losawyer and Monica Mauldin.
Services were held at McLoud United Methodist Church on Monday, Apr. 18, 2022. She was laid to rest next to her husband at Dale Cemetery.
