Betty Louise Pratt passed away November 3, 2022.
Betty was born on June 22, 1947 in Bay City, MI to her parents, Stanley Robert Allen and Nellie Louise (Gilmer) Allen. She graduated from Bay City Central High School in 1965. After high school, Betty attended Saginaw General School of Nursing and graduated in 1967. As an RN, Betty worked for Saginaw General, Pottawatomi County Health Department, and OBU. She retired from Shawnee Regional Hospital after 27 years of service, specializing in areas of OB, Medical/ Surgical and her passion, the Emergency Department.
Betty married Stanley K. Pratt in December 1999.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Nellie Allen, husband, Stanley K. Pratt, grandparents, G.P. Dale and Gertrude Allen and Tommy and Myrtle Gilmer.
Those left to mourn Betty’s passing are daughter, Mary Love and husband, Tyre, daughter, Barbie Barnes, her beloved grandchildren, Luke Love, Rylee Barnes, and Garrett Barnes, and sister, Kathy and husband John Jokisch and their son, Michael.
Graveside services were held at Resthaven Memorial Park in Shawnee on November 8, 2022, with Larry Sparks officiating.
