Beulah Lucille (Churchwell) Gay, 97, passed away on July 4, 2025. Beulah was born July 3, 1928, in Tabler, OK, and grew up on the family farm in Macomb, OK. She was one of 17 children born to Luther Columbus Churchwell and Mamie Mary Ethel (Swiger) Churchwell. Beulah married Donald Gay, on Aug. 21, 1961, in Ada, OK. They made their home in Shawnee and spent 33 love-filled years together before his passing in November of 1994.
Beulah was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Billie Cole; two granddaughters, Christy Musgrove and Sherry Barton; a grandson, Timothy Annanders; all 16 of her siblings: Calie Mae Churchwell, Lillie Ruth Churchwell, Birdie Churchwell, R.L. Churchwell, Floyd Churchwell, Orvil Churchwell, Roy Churchwell, George Churchwell, Lola Brown, Dovie McGaha, Elsie Henderson, Lois Pyle, Willie Mae Troxel, Viola Kirby, Bonnie Whatley, and Eline “Chigger” West.
Beulah is survived by her son, David Annanders (Joan); daughters, Linda Batt (Don) and Donna Seebeck (André Austin); grandchildren: Karri Seebeck (Richard Neeley), Jeff Seebeck (Cheyenne), Matthew Seebeck (Erin), Connie Rickner, Cindy Shirk (Joe), Misty Dyer (Charles), Debra Fowler, Ronda Williams (Jim), David Annanders II, and Ricky Annanders; former son-inlaw, Keith Seebeck; several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services were held July 11, 2025, at AE Funeral Services Chapel. Interment followed at Resthaven Memorial Park, Shawnee, OK.
